Biography:
Joseph Appice was born in 1977 to a decent family. Growing up, his childhood was pretty normal. His parents loved him, he got along with his cousins, and he was very close to his aunts and uncles. Once he entered school however, things changed. A chain of embarassing incidents led to Appice being picked on by those bigger than him. One day, in third grade, 8-year old Appice was beat by a notorious school bully. His father encouraged him to put up a fight the second he saw the bully again. His only specific advice for Appice was telling him to "Nail him in the head." Appice did that. He saw the enemy, went face-to-face, and poked him in the eye before punching him repeatedly in the nose. He won the fight and for the rest of the day, was considered a hero.
That proved to be the crowning moment of Appice's time in school. While he was proud of himself for what he did, his classmates moved on after a very short time and never spoke of it again. Appice was bothered. He loved the attention he received, and now it was gone faster than it came. Unfortunately, Appice always remembered his father's advice and whenever anything bothered him, no matter how big or small, Appice had no problem nailing the person who he felt wronged him in the face.
While he did eventually complete school, his obsession with being noticed positively by his classmates led to a miserable time following the bully incident. After school was over, Appice, a lifelong wrestling fan, decided to become a pro wrestler. He got in shape and trained under GWF non-legend T-dog Tomasio and debuted in T-dog's IBWA promotion shortly thereafter. Due to his habit of either causing harm to his opponent's head and face, his peers gave him the nickname "The Cranial Architect," which he adopted.
Appice didn't like T-dog, and thought he was everything that was wrong with the wrestling world; selfish, greedy, and not willing to help Appice get anywhere. Appice left T-dog lying with a concussion in the IBWA Arena. IBWA remains inactive and T-dog hasn't appeared publically since.
Now, although he's around 2 and a half years into his wrestling career, Appice has never stepped outside of the very small area provided by his trainer and former boss. He hopes PWA will be a chance for him to make it in wrestling.

Wrestling style:
Appice is mainly a slow-paced brawler. He loves to use his hands (punching, slapping, scratching, chopping, poking, twisting) and is especially fond of pinching his opponents in their faces and necks and pulling their skin. He keeps his index finger and thumb nails fairly long and sharp for this very reason. He likes to work on his opponent's head and face. He also likes to abuse the count given to break a hold, often breaking at the last second and then continuing all over again.
Strengths and weaknesses:
Weaknesses: Appice's main weakness is that he doesn't like to leave the ring. He's also afraid of heights, so he won't climb to the top rope (but he'll climb to the bottom or middle) or participate in a ladder match, and he's hesitant to climb a steel cage. High flyers also bother him. He likes his matches staying and ending in the ring.
Strengths: Appice is pretty comfortable wrestling bigger opponents and anyone else whose style is more on the slow side. Anyone who's not likely to want to leave the ring.
Specialties:
Appice's favorite weapons are brass knuckles. While he isn't really a hardcore wrestler, he's comfortable in a No DQ environment, as long as it stays to the ring.

Finishing Moves:
==========
"Cranial Architect" - (Double Underhook Piledriver)
Appice has always loved Piledrivers, so he knew when he started wrestling that he would want a version as a finisher. He chose the Double Underhook version after seeing that everyone in T-dog Tomasio's IBWA promotion used either a regular version or Tombstone.
Buildup Moves: The Iron Claw to the face is usually what Appice performs prior to the finisher.
"The Mule" - (Camel Clutch)
Always fond of using his hands and hurting the face/head/neck area, Appice felt that the Camel Clutch was the perfect submission hold.
Buildup Moves: Triple German Suplex
"Scarred" - (Double-Knee Facebreaker/Codebreaker)
Appice himself isn't fond of the move, but he used it out of desperation one time during training when going up against the student who was widely considered the star pupil. It worked, so he uses it only in urgent situations.
Buildup Moves: Nothing really. It's an out-of-nowhere thing.
