*The scene opens up in a darkened room. A single overhead light comes on in the darkness forming a small form of spotlight in the middle of the screen. Footsteps are heard in the dark room and a man walks into view...Andrew Franklin is wearing his wrestling gear and is staring at his hands.*
Andrew Franklin: The people in Boston, Massachusetts bore witness to one of the greatest events in the history of professional wrestling. At Pro Wrestling Alliance's Chapter Two...Alex Storm's wrestling career went up in flames. Storm went in a legend and walked out a completely broken man...All of his achievements...Accomplishments...Awards and trophies...went up in flames and ultimately were worth nothing.
*Franklin smiles smugly as he continues to speak while staring at his hands.*
Andrew Franklin: Storm stepped into the ring a seasoned competitor...Someone who was feared and respected...but ultimately it wasn't enough to overcome his competition. Storm burned to the ground...and from his ashes a new legend arose like a phoenix. From the ashes of a great wrestler rose "The Authority" Andrew Franklin.
*Franklin looks directly into the camera and smiles confidently.*
Andrew Franklin: I am the man who retired the legend. I am the man who every PWA roster member needs to respect and fear...Because if I can do what I did to someone to Alex Storm...Imagine what I will do to you. I don't care if you are beloved or hated like myself...If you cross my path, I will take you down. No exceptions and no excuses needed. Which brings me to my opponents this week...Ross Lambert and Chris Williams.
*Suddenly lights on the wall come on and posters of Ross Lambert and Williams are illuminated behind Franklin. Andrew looks over his shoulder in disgust.*
Andrew Franklin: I told the powers that be to deliver the best to me this week and they did not disappoint. Well, at least on one count.
*Andrew walks slowly over to the Lambert poster and seems to study it.*
Andrew Franklin: Lambert...oh Lambert. What have you done to get yourself involved in this match? All you have done in your life is taken orders...Continually working in vain to gain the approval of your superiors. Whether it be in the military...or in the wrestling ring. Let me ask you this Ross...When you face me in the ring, will you salute me? You know I am your superior...so you need to learn to fall in line and treat me with the respect that you have wanted all your life.
*Franklin violently tears the poster away from the wall and crumples it up in his hand. Franklin stares at the ball of rumpled paper and screams at it.*
Andrew Franklin: YOU WILL NEVER BE GOOD ENOUGH MAGGOT! YOU WILL ALWAYS FALL SHORT OF WHAT IS EXPECTED FROM YOU! YOU ARE WORTHLESS AND YOU NEED TO BE PUT OUT OF YOUR MISERY!
*Franklin tosses the ball of paper aside and takes a deep breath as he looks towards the ground.*
Andrew Franklin: But I have a compromise for you Lambert...In our match...Bow to me and I will spare you. If not...I'll make sure you get carried from the ring and never return. I grow tired of seeing you waste valuable airtime and its time for you to learn your place.....
*Franklin smiles as he looks into the camera.*
Andrew Franklin: At my feet. Lambert, you will learn to serve my needs and become a force in this company. I can take you under my wing and make you a threat. You know what you need to do...You can be saved...However your partner for this week...
*Andrew Franklin turns slowly to the Chris Williams' poster.*
Andrew Franklin: Our illustrious champion...The man of the people. A man who lives to hear their cheers as if they validate him. Their cheers gives him energy and make him feel invincible.
*Franklin walks towards the poster and leans against the wall as he continues to look at it.*
Andrew Franklin: But appealing to those fans do not make you stronger Chris...It makes you pathetic. Pandering and pleading for cheers make you weak. Make you vulnerable. Makes you ripe for this picking...Which is exactly what I am going to do in our match. Williams, you are feeling like you are on the top of the mountain right now. I can see it in your eyes. You believe in your abilities just because you are holding a piece of tin in your hands...
*Franklin chuckles to himself as he hangs his head low.*
Andrew Franklin: But your reign with that title is fleeting. Your time as Champion in this company is quickly running out and there is nothing you can do to stop it. The sands of time is quickly swirling around your feet in anticipation of your inevitable demise...
*Franklin looks into the camera*
Andrew Franklin: You will lose that championship that means so much to you...You will fall and you will remember this moment...When I told you that all you care about will be taken away. The fans who once chanted your name will turn their backs on you. The company who pushed you to the peak of that mountain will bury you once they are done with you. Your friends will take that moment to hold you down. And you will be a broken man...You will fall. And I will be the man who told you it was coming.
*Franklin runs his hand across the bricks of the wall before reaching the edge of the poster.*
Andrew Franklin: Can't you see the writing on the wall Chris? I can. Your end will come...but it all starts right here and right now. You career...much like Alex Storm's....will go up in flames.
*The Chris Williams' poster suddenly ignites and Franklin moves his hand back quickly. Franklin watches it go up in flames and begins to laugh.*
Andrew Franklin: This Wednesday...The Fall of Chris Williams begins. We all fall...Chris Williams will fall first. The Authority has spoken.
*Franklin walks away as the camera zooms into the burning Chris Williams' image. The screen fades to black.*
